CPS Energy Solar Rebate (San Antonio)
$0.60 per watt up to $4,500
CPS Energy is the San Antonio municipal utility and one of the largest in Texas. The CPS Energy Solar Rebate pays $0.60 per watt of installed solar capacity, capped at $4,500 per residence. A typical 6 kW San Antonio install receives the full $3,600. CPS also operates a separate community solar option that allows renters and condo dwellers to subscribe to off-site solar generation — useful for households who cannot install rooftop. The rebate is funded annually by CPS and typically depletes within 6–9 months of fiscal year start. Reservations are first-come first-served.
