Pennsylvania Sunshine Solar Rebate
Variable rebate plus SREC market access
Pennsylvania Sunshine is Pennsylvania's residential solar rebate program plus Solar Renewable Energy Credit (SREC) market access. The SREC market historically paid $50–$120 per MWh and stacks with the federal 25D credit. Combined with federal + Pennsylvania property tax exclusion (solar value not added to property tax assessment), Pennsylvania delivers reasonable solar economics despite a modest solar resource. Major utilities (PECO, Duquesne Light, PPL, FirstEnergy) administer net metering at retail rate.
